The in the background is called The Steel House, it is right outside my city of Lubbock, TX. The guy who built it by himself was Robert Bruno and after 30 years it is left unfinished due to his death.
Is it just me, or does anyone else notice that the song starts off kind of cheerful only to become sad towards the end? It’s almost as if something tragic happens halfway through the song and the whole atmosphere becomes heavier and depressing as a result.
