Interesting band The Godfathers, they were not that big in the UK their home country but they did quite well in the U.S. This was quite rare because most UK bands that had success in the U.S. had equal or greater success in the UK. Some bands like Frankie Goes to Hollywood were one hit wonders in the US but had multiple hits on the UK charts. This video was nominated for the Best New Artist Video at the 1988 VMAs but lost to Guns N Roses “Welcome to the Jungle”.
