singing about what is the belief of true emotion and boy grief, is not the same as actually feeling the emotion. the video is portrayed to be something weird and out of place, which is not the same as showing sadness, grief or sorrow, it´s really nothing, the monotome voice that rarely changes it vocal, is not a show of emotion, but a show powerlessness. though you can be sad and powerless, it´s not the same actually being sad. you can be sad and not cry and not do anything about your emotion, which is the equivilant of not allowing yourself to feel your emotions....true emotion lies within heavy metal that screams your anger, and explains how you are feeling your sadness, with an extended explanation with words and not just "boy´s do´t cry" which is actually a simple explanation of what you feel, but not why or how you came to feel like this is true...the song boys don´t cry, is not a sad song, because it doesn´t allow you to feel sad, it´s a statement, and it´s the true facade of this band. it´s like feeling sad, but not enough to cry about it...which is what people do when they hear this song....and it´s stupid....
My goodness...ive been replaying this video over and over in the last several years. Just now I noticed that the shadows right from the beginning were not of the boys playing the instruments .
