one thing i know for sure is that if i were an artist, a singer in the 80s, i would never agree to do a playbacked performance, even for all the money on earth and the universe combined, i love music, and i apreciate spandau´s work, but lets be rational, lip synched performing is ridiculous and an insult to the appreciators of music, but unfortunately we live in a capitalist world so everything is about selling and buying and copyrights. i mean, in this video they dont even bother playing the (unpluged)guitars syncronizedly with the playback, what a shame.
Hot August watching olympics from LA into late evening and small hours in UK whilst listening to Parade. Careless Whisper no.1 in charts too. Sweet memories of a long school summer holiday
Spandau Ballet stood out because they looked like real, hetero, virile MEN you might meet down the pub (albeit much better looking than the average bloke down the pub). They were very sexy - even the slightly odd-looking Kemp brothers could clearly give a girl a good seeing to! This takes me back to being a hormonal teenager - thanks for the memories/fantasies, Lol!

Music chronicles. We lived them and we never will see them again. Never.
