I see a comment about the irony of listening to this track in mono; the bigger irony is the American announcer, the Radio Corporation of America records, the American footage......all for a system invented by a British chap by the name of Alan Blumlein, a good decade or more before our transatlantic cousins ever worked with the idea. As a matter of fact, Blumlein was killed in an aircraft accident near Hay On Wye, Herefordshire, whilst testing Radar equipment, and never lived to see commercial application of his work. Now that, my friends, is a sad irony.
