Saw them play the Fillmore in SF with Bad Brains opening for them — they had just released Stain. Doug was right in front of me and my friends playing this songs untouchable melodic heavy groovin baseline with attitude (tribute to Bad Brains) as if it were nothing. Blew me away. To this day this song plays over and over in my head when I need a pick-me-up, always reminding me that nothing can hold me down. Then Pantera’s “10’s” comes on next and its on! Best thing about this band is I can put them on a mix tape (totally ages me) with bands ranging from The Bee Gees to Venom to Maroon 5 to Coheed & Cambria to The Weekend to Slipknot to...well anyone — they are that musically diverse. Untouchable — truly untouchable!

Underrated band and song. Pure brilliance in the lyrics.

What an underrated band. I had not heard of them until today.

Living Colour is one of the greatest bands to ever bless the atmosphere with the sound of pure talent.

Such a great band. Huge influence on me as a young teen learning guitar in the 90s. Legends

Super psyched to finally be able to see these guys live next week - if they play this song my life will be complete!

This is my funeral song. Not to be a depressing way but we start with nothing and go out with nothing

Love this album. So deep. So original. The sounds... Vernon is amazing. All of them. And the philosophy beneath make Stain perfect.
