I’ve been a fan of this man’s beautiful voice since I first heard it in the mid-50s. Johnny Mathis has a sublime voice and I’ll never tire of his magnificent phrasing. This song makes me very melancholic. Truly beautiful. :-)
I am 48 and have been listening to Jonny Mathis since I was 13. Back when I graduated my parents did not have much money but they bought be his greatest hits albums. It is a several record set. He has the smoothest voice!!! My fav singer ever. I have trouble finding guitar chords to this song and a few other of my favorites. But this song is my very favorite by him!!!!!!!!
To young people: Please play this song and other Johnny Mathis songs while you are sitting down relaxing. It will make you feel romantic, not keyed up like the rap stuff.
