A statement released Wednesday by Park County coroner Richard Wood said she “died as a result of a self-inflicted drug and alcohol overdose” and that no further details would be released. I hope Margot found the peace in the afterlife she demonstrated beautifully during the interlude in the video.
Every song off this album sounds like the backseat of my dads car when we were going up to see my grandmother when I was 12 years old. It’s nice to listen back on these songs a bit older now and connect with them in a different way. Actually, my father was one of the first to play a lot of these guys on the radio here in New Brunswick and he had them come in the studio and pulled me out of class to come meet them. Fantastic guys. Very encouraging and inspirational to a young mind. Keep making great music! I rest assured knowing the future of Canadian rock is in great hands.
