I might not be much to look at and I might not have much to sayBut if you let me love you baby there’s a good chance you’re gonna staySmooth talking, dancing and bragging honey it’s never been my thingMaybe my voice can give you comfort if you stick around to hear me singWon’t you stay for a songWon’t you stay one more songWon’t you stay one more songMy place among all lovers it sure ain’t number oneAlthough I am good enough for you to miss me when I’m goneOn stage when I face a crowd of people inside I still feel aloneBut I know I’m a decent singer and most days I can keep my toneWon’t you stay one more songWon’t you stay one more songWon’t you stay one more song
This song is a great way to end this album. The dynamics and simplicity are what make this stand-out, and it works, even for a gritty band like Graveyard. As for the video... Just a bunch of Into The Wild Footage?... hmmm...
When I hear this song, my mind focuses on the lyrics, pretty and painful. While mentalizing that, I slowly let the instrumental part penetrate my soul. Music can be tranforming and life changing. This one fills my eyes with tears of joy and my soul with warmth. I am so thankful to be a Graveyard fan.
