    • Personally, my father left my step sisters mom and her for me and my mom, (his addiction got him kicked out of both homes) I feel so bad for taking my dad away from my sister, whom I’ve just recently got in contact with. All I have to say is, my mom is both my mom and dad and I couldn’t ask for anything better ❤️

    • This is about dads but shoutout to the moms left behind trying to hold it together. When this happens, the mothers usually become the villains because who else is their to blame? I’m sorry mama

    • My dad left two times. The first time was because he was on drugs, and did some terrible things sending him to jail for six years. He later moved back in with us and he did good for like five months, he later started drinking again. He started yelling and throwing things so my mom kicked him out! Then I got home from school one day with the news on and some of my family members at my house, I found out that he had killed someone. He was on drugs and with two other people he robbed a house not knowing that the owner was home and he stabbed him 73 times. I hope that one day I can write him and talk to him on the phone without feeling like it was my fault. I also hope that I never turn out like him! I have anger issues and it lead me to be on diversion because of a fight I got into. I know that it is not his fault I got in a fight but I just pray my anger issues don’t lead me to be where he is right now!

    • i have a father who chose to keep me in his life as a child for his own pride. growing up he only showed love for my half sisters. the children he made with his new wife. his new family. his own family. i was just an extra mouth to feed at the end of the day. so in the end. i never truly had a father. i didn’t live with my true family. i felt this song so deep. thank you for making this. losing your father made you the strong woman you are today. keep your head up.
